My husband and I hired Chris "Bo" Timmons with "Bo's Photography" after seeing his work at a wedding show in Winstom Salem, North Carolina. There were several other, more personable, photographers at the wedding show that offered the same services for half the price. However, we ultimately went with Bo because we though his photos had a bit of an edge over the other, less expensive, options. My husband and I selected a $3,000 wedding package that was guaranteed to include 1) 7 hours of wedding day coverage, 2) electronic files of our images, and 3) a custom designed 10x10 photo book to include up to 60 images. Per the contract, we were to pay the $3,000 balance (in full) at least 2 weeks before the wedding, which we did. We met with Bo one time before the wedding for an hour, at our request, and didn't hear from him again until the day of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Bo showed up and gave us our 7 hours of wedding day coverage. That was the last time my husband and I ever physically saw or verbally spoke to Bo again. Since that time, we have sent countless emails, phone calls, Facebook messages, and text messages to Bo and his company that have all gone unanswered. Six months after the wedding, Bo finally sent a response via text asking for my home address so he could send us our images. I, of course, quickly obliged and texted him back our address. A week or two later, we finally received our images. Victory! Now we had to collect on our last item of the contract, the photo book. I called and emailed Bo to ask how I should send the 60 images I have selected for the photo book. Bo texted me back and instructed me to upload them to Pictage and he would get working on the photo book. That was the last bit of communication we ever heard from Bo, and that is not from lack of trying on our part. We have done everything in our power to get ahold of Bo, or anyone from his company, yet every email, text, and phone call goes unanswered. Needless to say, it has been 14 months since our wedding and we still don't have our photo book. Chris "Bo" Timmons is one of the most unprofessional, uncommunicative vendors I have ever dealt with. Please beware when selecting him for your photography needs. He is expensive, impersonal, and will not hold up his end of the contract. Bo has held our memories hostage from us and has proved to be a true scam artist in the industry.
