Extremely poor customer service. Needed homeowner's insurance for a 4-plex I purchased. Provided Jason Elsner wind inspection report which shows my 4-plex consists of 2 buildings. He wrote up as 1 building. Insurance was quoted less and collected less at closing. Insurance notified me that I was about to be cancelled, but Jason just told me that it was because it was not collected at closing. I scrambled to get proof that it was. A month later another cancellation notice. It was then that I found out the error. There were other issues also, with a repair that needed to be done, and was. I sent inspector verification to Jason, he forwarded to insurance company. They asked for it again...this happened numerous times. They needed a signature, inspector signed, they sent back. They needed a date, inspector dated, they sent back. They didn't want an electronic signature, they sent back. Bottom line, I feel that once Jason got his commission, he didn't give a rat's behind about me. He didn't bother to get clarification from insurance company nor did he check what I sent him...he just hit "forward" every time. Causing me to have to scramble to avoid cancellation each time. I contacted him 3 times over a month to talk about my refund which because I was being cancelled. He did not respond. On the 3rd time I told him if he did not respond I was going to write a review on yelp and file a complaint with the insurance commissioner. Only then did he respond saying he was out of town and he'd call me. That was in November. I still haven't heard from him. I’ve only gotten a partial refund, and he got full commission. If I had a claim on bldg. 2, I would not have been covered.
