This was a good program, learned PLC's , Allen Bradley ladder logic. Learned to operate and program the Fanuc Robot as well as basic electronics, motors, controls and drives. Everyone from my class got employed in the $17 - $20 range starting off. Now we are in the $30 -$50 range. From 2017 till now.

Mtech on Tank Ave in Warren, are full of it! They received grant money from Barack Obama for multi skilled technician. Stidents were told by faculty that the jobs were out there, companies were gonna be ringing our phones and starting pay would be in the range of $16 to $20. Well needless to say, it's a bunch of bologna. Employers are not recognizing the certificate for 680 hours of this 5 month training. A large amount of students that got jobs were for production for $11 an hr. The grant money was allocated to train the unemployed and underemployed. Also there is never enough equipment for students, faculty are rude and don't listen. In my opinion this program generated positions for Macomb Community College not the students. President Obama hear our cries. We wasted 5 months of our lives to be lied to and bamboozled and we are still unemployed and under employed. This program is the biggest joke. The thing is that its not funny.
