Don't waste your time on this law firm. Despite that they are "A Professional Corporation" (it's posted in many places on their website), they are far from professional.

The staff is terribly rude, going as far as one of them (Kirby) hanging up on me instead of simply answering a question, as well as lying to me multiple times ("we don't have an office manager," "Denise left the office for the day (Michelle confirmed for me Denise was right there)," etc.). Then the next staff member with whom I got to speak (Michelle) at least didn't hang up on me, but was still extremely rude and also lied ("I can't forward you to our office manager's voicemail" (eventually she did), "you didn't tell me that" (I had)).

The paralegal with whom I have experience (Denise), who is supposed to be "proficient in state-of-the-art office support and procedures," cannot even properly work spell check, as learned from paperwork she had completed.

Although that Mrs. Dodd seems like a very nice person, that's not what is needed in an attorney, and she did a poor job as a divorce lawyer. She appeared to simply be trying to get a paycheck rather than actually doing her job properly in order to get it. It took her four trials to dispute an extremely simple Domestic Violence Restraining Order. Despite being given very specific information for the Stipulated Agreement, she and Denise still did not fill it out as requested, requiring the client to completely re-write it. The firm knowingly broke Rules of Professional Conduct from the State Bar of California, then charged for repeatedly filling out the Change of Attorney paperwork, which was not requested.
