Disappointing Experience at Zhang Dental Group of Tustin

I feel obligated to update the community and share our experience to raise awareness of the billing practices at Zhang Dental Group of Tustin.
Upon relocating to Irvine, my family and I were actively searching for a reliable dental practitioner, and Google search led us to their practice.
Initially enticed by the special offer for new patients at the rate of $45.00, we expected our first visit to include standard services such as cleaning, X-rays, and, if necessary, a treatment plan—services typically covered by all dental offices for their new customers.
Unfortunately, our experience with their office fell significantly short of our expectations. The discrepancy between the initially advertised offer and the final charges has left us feeling misled. They have charged our credit card total of $373.00 instead of the expected $135.00 for all three of us.
He claims that the additional charges reflects the services rendered. We are struggling to understand the ethical and legal justification for these charges. We were neither presented with nor did we approve any additional services during our visit.
We firmly believe in honest and transparent healthcare practices, and this experience has prompted us to question the integrity of the dental office. We acknowledge that misunderstandings can occur, but this seems deliberate.
Finally, it is regrettable that we now find ourselves in the position of having to pay once again for another dental checkup in order to proceed with setting up a treatment plan with another reliable and trustworthy dental practice in the area.
