Worst appraiser. We are a military family and needed an appraiser for our new home. Carl Schneider did our appraisal and made some errors that needed to be fixed before we could close. He was unreachable for DAYS to fix these simple errors. The lender was finally able to get him on the phone. He fixed 2 errors, but left one error unfixed so we are still not able to close on our house. Now he is unreachable again. This has been an exhausting experience with him.

Our first and only experience with him has been exhausting. We’re a military family—moving from Idaho to Oklahoma—and everything was going smoothly, until he failed to change a simple lot description and then blamed our lender.

Long-story short, we’re a month and a half without a house and the Army pays for only 10 days of Hotels after the move.
We’re expected to close 8/5, but Mr. Schneider failed to update data in the system, blamed a lender, and now is throwing a childish fit to “teach them a lesson” which is -only- negatively affecting my family.
