Capital was called out to tow my truck and small trailer. When contacted a Mr. Arredondo, they had my truck and trailer; he would b there for next hour the total would b $287. Cash! Mind U this is 7ish in the evening. I inquired why so much; they had chargee for both truck and small motorcycle trailer as sepperate; even though got both on same rollback. I said no way could get that much cash together and down there in less than a hour. He says if come before 10:am next day won't charge me for storage. After getting there before 10:am still notice $60 charge for storage -after paying/ receiving receipt. The real concern is when go to pull forward. Well after I have to go over curb that once was a gas island. As there is cars and trucks and parts of them hap haphazardly parked everywhere. No rows or order to any of it. My truck won't go into park, it just seems to end at reverse. I mention to him, he gets a jack, Jack's truck up and slides under saying ' that should do it' I get in pull forward and try park again....still not there. Try driving it, it should work it's self out. It has not worked itself out. When called Him; now thought was like thwt before he towed it. I enquire who his insurance is with, he tells me 'use the $20 I took of tow to fix it' hanging up on me. Real class act. I might add I will b lodging a complaint with the sheriff's department and that thought I would go by the lot -night couldn't get down there, to see where located. We're I find the gate unlocked and no one around. This is east 6th street in Topeka we talking about here. Doesn't answer phone or when do get through hangs up on me. I am no machanic, and has really put me in a bind. As really need truck to pull trailer with. I did not sign anything releasing Capital Towing from any damages to my vehicle. They really need to make this right with me. I would have been happy to bring down and have his driver fix it. He should have some idea of what he did to get out of hear, or maybe that the problem, drug in gear. Who knows, but know they need to make this right with me.
