extremely poor service. I feel almost robbed by this lawyer. We had a small issue regarding an easement. on the initial consultation he told me that our neighbors contention is "ridiculous" and he will prepare a response to the letter we had received. However instead of preparing a response to the neighbors lawyer, he prepared a letter addressed to me saying that i have 3 options.......first is to follow the instructions in the neighbors letter, second was to ignore the letter and third was to go to court. he then sent me a bill for $400 for this pathetic advice. why do i need to hire a lawyer to give me this advice to do nothing. Instead of writing a response to the letter we had received, his letter was addressed to me giving me his brilliant 3 options. I had to hire another lawyer who drafted a response immediately and charged me way less than the $400 that Mr harper charged for useless advice.
Beware as he does not declare any of these fees but then sends you a huge bill. I am not opposed to paying for a service. What i am upset about is the fact that he did not even prepare a response to the letter and still charged me a large amount.
I would definitely suggest looking for another lawyer
