ILKB in Skokie is awesome! I registered online for my free 3 classes back in November 2016. Along with free classes, you will receive free boxing gloves. The first class was very tough and tiring but I loved how I felt afterwards. So I decided to become a member. I had some ache & pains in my neck/lower back before starting. Since I have been kickboxing the ache & pains slowly went away. The locker room/bathroom areas are super clean. I ended up losing my small keys to locker. I'm sure during class keys fell out of my pants. I told Amber & Clarrisa that I lost my keys. They were very helpful & super patient with me as they looked around the whole studio. Clarrisa drove out to home depot to buy a lock cutter. Together Amber & Clarrisa flex their muscles to cut the lock off the locker. I was super happy that they were so patient & awesome with me during my dumb moment. :) You don't need to have experience to attend a class. Instructors will walk around to make sure you are using correct form to throw/kick the bag properly. Don't be intimidated! Great staff, cardio workout, just do it!
