Hello. We bought a home from Howie in Hereford. He remodeled the home for sale. First week there we had a leak in our window. Fast forward to month four, leaks in our roof. Fast forward to month 7, more leaks from our roof. Howie informed us of a warranty on the skylights, but a leak test would need to be done. Howie conducted the leak test and didnt bother to lay down a plastic or place a bucket down, so puddles were left on my floor. Howie didn't apologize nor did he offer to clean the mess up.

During monsoon season water continued to leak into our home. I advised Howie that he should install a new roof due to other roofers insisting roof was passed its life expectancy. The 3 separate roofers stated that the roof was made to look" pretty" for a home inspector.

Howie offered us pathetic 3000 towards a new roof. He even recommended Ulysses from West Over roofing. I took the offer and had Ulysses come out. Ulysses informed me that he inspected the roof for Howie when he bought the home. Ulysses told me that he advised Howie to install a new roof because of wear and tear, obviously, Howie did not replace the roof. Howie did not disclose this information. Arizona law states that such information must be documented in the SPDS because it affects the decision-making process. I do not recommend buying a home from Howie, owner of Sierra Remodeling.

I know Howie has begun painting himself the victim, but what he did isn't right. The whole thing is this man had an inspection on the roof done and heard something he didn't like, so he omitted it from the SPDS. That is against the law because anything, and that means good or bad, that affects the decision-making process it must be disclosed. Argue whatever you want and continue to paint the picture like the AG dropped a case and the BBB dropped the case. Its a complaint. Even Adam Weidman, Tucson Attorney, said sounds like a valid case, but your agreement throws a wrench in things. Now, research does show that an agreement can be voided if you can show the other party lied or omitted information prior to the agreement being signed. Hmm.
