The receptionist I checked in with was incredibly rude and disrespectful. It was my first time there and since it's in a hospital I was 5 minutes late due to getting a little lost trying to find what door it was. I was ONLY 5 minutes late for my 1:30 appointment... and at about 1:50 after I had been sitting there waiting to be called back, another patient arrived for their 2 o'clock appointment and within 5-10 minutes (so at about 1:55-2) the nurse came and called the other patient back! So at this point I'd been waiting 20-25 minutes and then they called the person scheduled after me back for their appointment first (note: we were both there for the same thing, a regular sonogram)... The other receptionist, the one who did not check me in looked puzzled and asked her coworker, the receptionist that checked me in, why I was not called back first. The receptionist who checked me in simply replied, without even caring I was right there, "because she was late so she obviously has time to wait and [the other patient] was early." * Honestly that was the worst I've ever been treated at a doctors office. I understand being late can hold back the other people after who come on time.. and I would have understood if I had been really late, but I was only 5 minutes late. Plus there were much more appropriate ways for her to have handled the situation and inform me of what was going on. **Also after the ultrasound tech finished, and left me laying there with my shirt up and gooey crap all over my stomach, she told me the doctor was on the phone and would be in shortly. Well Dr. Ball still did not come after I had been laying there for another half hour or more since the tech finished... So I got up, cleaned up and left without seeing him, not to mention I was the only patient there! Needless to say I will never return! At least I got to see the baby and get pictures of him via sonogram...
