We had a horrible experience working with Granite works and will not recommend this company to anyone.
We selected a quartz countertop with their sales rep (Evan and Snell), we paid the 70% deposit and were told that the countertop will be installed within 1 week after the measurement. They could not deliver the countertop even 3 weeks after the measurement as their supplier didn't have it in stock, and they could not even give us a timeframe for when it will be in stock. So we asked to give our deposit back. At this point, they said they will deduct 30% from the deposit as a contract cancellation fee! and refused to give our full deposit back or give a timeframe of when they will be able to install the countertop. We were so shocked by this response and were totally in disbelief that the company could do this and act with such dishonesty. This is a brick-and-mortar store with several years of business, maybe they are under new ownership, otherwise, I am not sure how they could survive with such bad business practices.
Fortunately, we paid using a credit card. Our credit card company was able to dispute the charges on our behalf. But we had to go thru a lot of stress and paperwork just because we had $5,500 at risk (70% deposit) and our kitchen remodeling project was stuck incurring us additional contractor expenses.

Please be careful working with this company. If you do decide to work, please ensure you modify the contract with a clause that gets your deposit back if the company is unable to provide the service within the acceptable timeframe. Their current contract has no such protection for customers. And from our experience, we can tell that Granite Works will not act ethically in difficult situations. Also, always use a credit card for payments as it provides additional safety and protection for the customers in such situations.
