Reviews of Chadwick Heirlooms in Richmond

We ordered an item on Chadwick Heirlooms web site. Shortly after ordering, my wife received an e-mail that the product was not in stock. When we called after two weeks of waiting for the product to become in stock and ship, they could not provide a timeframe when the product would be available, so we attempted to cancel the order. They had already charged our credit card (for only an out-of-stock item), and refused to cancel the order without a restocking fee (for an item they never had in stock). If an item was not in stock, they should not have charged the card in the first place. Clearly this store cares more about a few bucks than providing any semblance of customer support. We will never shop here again, and I would recommend that others avoid it as well.
