Reviews of The Grant Hall Wedding & Special Events in Philadelphia

On May 21, 2022 I attended my second wedding receptions at this venue which was approximately one year after my first introduction to this venue. Unfortunately, the following issues were still not addressed:

- The air conditioner was not working so the building was sweltering and majority of the guest left early because they became ill from the inside temperature. It was more desirable to be outside in 96 degree weather then inside the venue. The bride was forced too spend a considerable amount of time outside in an air conditioned vehicle as she was sweltering in her wedding gown 😔.

- The ladies restroom was disgustingly dirty and had a musky smell to it. Two of the three stalls didn't work. There was no trash can in the restroom, instead a trash bag was thrown on the floor in a corner.

- The floors of the venue were absolutely dirty and appeared not to have been mopped for months.

- The venue I not handicapped accessible. Therefore, guest had to literally carry one of the other guest up approximately 30-35 steps in a wheelchair. And the elderly struggled to make it upstairs to the second floor.

- There is inadequate parking and the small parking lot is dirty. They did not offer alternative parking options in a small commercial area. So, out of town guest were left floundering trying too find parking.

This review is being given one star because it's a minimum requirement.
