Dr Suttons associate, Erin Petersen MD seems to be very knowledgeable and has a great way of making you comfortable.
The office staff on the other hand leaves a bit to be desired, I was charged a co-pay which I have NEVER had to pay in 40 yrs, I questioned the girl who gave me the bill, why? I have never had a copay from my eye Dr before. Instead of trying to figure out why by calling the Provide Ph# designated as "Provider" Ph# on my Blue cross insurance {Anthem} to find out why I am now being charged a co-pay she elected to insist I just pay the co-pay, One simple Ph call would have provided the answer, under my Insurance plan they would have discovered that "VSP" is part of my insurance provider's coverage, Instead I had to do their job for them when I got home by making the all important Ph call which was already provided by my Insurance company for the provider to call in case there needs to be clarifications as to what my plan covers.
I, in turn canceled my next appointment for a complete "eye exam peripheral fields" for myself as well as canceled an exam for my wife to get "Contact Lenses" and also cancelled the next appointment for my Brother to get eye surgery.
Hopefully Dr Sutton as well as Dr Petersen will make sure his, as well as her office staff will quit with only doing half a job.
