Reviews of Ferragamo in Paramus

I purchased a money clip from this exact store. Had to return it because the magnet was not strong enough to stop the money from falling out. I'd paid cash at this store so I expected to get cash back. Not the case. They had a ridiculous policy that they would mail me a check within 2 1/2 weeks. I was explaining to the "manager" that this is a huge inconvenience since this was a gift for someone and I had to return the money immediately. She said nothing else but that I would get it in a check form and it would take 2 1/2 weeks. Right before leaving the store after getting no other resolution, so it seemed, I asked if by calling Ferrago corporate office I might be able to expedite this since it was an inconvenience to wait that long for a check. At this point, and only at this point did the manager say, that another option was to put it back on a debit card and that may take up to 5 days. Wow! So, why was this option not given to me at the first sign that waiting 2 1/2 for a check was not making this customer happy? Why did I have to be the one to find options and solutions? Why did this manager not try to give me this option? I am a sales manager for State Farm insurance companies and I was always taught to find solutions for our public, DO NOT SAY what you CANNOT DO, ALWAYS ALWAYS say what you CAN DO to try and help the customer. I felt like for someone to call themselves a manager for this prestigious brand should get better training on customer relations, empathy and just someone that aims to please the public that is the ONLY reason they even have job to begin with.
