Magic One Nail shop provided me nail services when I went to pay they said they did not take my credit card. He told me to call my boyfriend to come pay for it and was disrespectful and condescending. I told him I didn’t have a boyfriend; I had a credit card. It was American Express. I was not informed no did it say anywhere that they did not accept this. He told me to just go to the bank like his other customers and I told him I didn’t get paid till the next day, that’s why I had a credit card. He said he was calling the police and locked me in the building and assaulted me when I tried to leave the premises over $78. I was able to escape and called the police. I am a disabled American whose rights were violated. The police agreed to not press charges on me for theft (I wasn't given the chance to steal anything before my safety was put in jeopardy) by not charging the shop owner either. He did not speak English and threatened my safety and wellbeing.
