Reviews of Mid Atlantic Towing & Recovery in Newport News

I requested information from the business license office here in Newport News,Va. concerning Mid Atlantic ,also here. They told me on Sept 19 that
Mid Atlantic Towing had NO business in Newport News. As soon as this is confirmed I'll add that information to information that several of us have sent to The Office of the Attorney General of Virginia. This company has over 400 poor reviews on THIER web site. If they have No license they should not have Towed approx 6 cars from the parking lot where I live. They towed my car and applied for a new title even though I have the title for my car.I purchased it from the Glouster Police Department. In order to apply for a new title they listed it as adandoned. The car was parked under my window.
This was within days after towing. Also they wouldnot accept storage cost at the office in Newport News where the car was towed from. I had to go to another city to an unmaned lot and pay cash. They advertise credit cards,. but wouldnot accept my employers as payment. This cost me an additional
storage day. Please don't use this company . The Better Business Bureau does not approve them. They are below poor and and don't deserve any rating at all. If you have used them recently,please check to see that Mid Atlantic Towing has not declared your car abandoned.
