I am an African American mother. I was just currently hospitalized at Banner Desert. My boyfriend and my two sons came to visit me. My boyfriend wanted to stay the night with me, and the boys as well. The original nurse said everything was fine and got an extra bed. Less than an hour later the end came in quite rudely. She said we would have to take our children home. We were both awake and our sons are sleep as well. Banner states in the visitor policy that they pride themselves in family and bonding with the family during a time of illness is very serious.
