Reviews of Noah's Pet Hotel & Spa in Mechanicsburg

I rarely leave reviews, but it is imperative that animal owners hear this. I would not only NOT recommend this place, I would vigorously deter others from boarding their animals here. My husband and I dropped off our 3 month old Goldendoodle at the Mechanicsburg location, while we vacationed in NC, only to receive a phone call the next morning that our dog was severely injured. His front legs slid underneath his indoor enclosure into the dog's kennel beside him. He was severely bitten and attacked from his paws to his armpits. His legs were torn up and shredded. The employee found him at 6 am when they opened (they have no overnight staff/overnight cameras at this facility). Therefore, we have no way of knowing how long our puppy was trapped, in severe pain, terrified, and fighting to free himself. Our puppy was immediately transferred to Shore's emergency vet where he was stabilized after severe emotional distress. Surgery was needed that same evening and he required overnight monitoring. A week later Nuggie came home and we had follow up appointments at our primary vet twice a day for continued care. After researching extensively, it was determined that Noah's Kennel violated the kennel laws & regulations of the State of Pennsylvania stating, "The floor shall not permit the feet of any dog housed in the primary enclosure to pass through any opening". We never received an apology from the owner, Andrew, or any concern for our puppy's health condition. The county dog warden was useless and continued passing their inspection despite this violation in prior months. We reached out to the best attorney in the State of PA who defends animal law. The only legal recourse we had was for Noah's to pay the medical fees, which they did. This is so unacceptable and absolutely appalling and we hope that you reconsider before boarding your animals at this location so no one's puppy ever has to experience the TRAUMA that ours went through. Noah's needs to be held accountable for this act of negligence.
