Reviews of Cabela's in Lubbock

I've recently purchased a new shotgun (beretta a400). At first my purchase went very well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ran my background check. Signed up for cabelas club membership the same day to purchase the new shotgun with the membership card.

When I got home, I unboxed and began to assemble. During the process of assembling I began to have troubles attaching my forearm grip. So, I decided to take it back and have customer service assemble my new shotgun for me.

Arrived back to cabelas and asked if they could help me assemble the gun. They were kind enough to take a look and help. After inspecting the gun I was told it was broken and they will have to send it back to the manufacturer and have them fix it. Apparently there's no return or exchange after getting sold a broken gun from cabelas.

My only option now is to have them send it back to the manufacturer and have it get fixed. So yes, I was sold a broken $1,800 gun at full market price. Before leaving I was asked to sign the terms and conditions saying I would be liable for costs of repair. Didn't agree so I didn't sign.

At the end of the day it was nobody's fault with breaking the gun besides beretta's cheap material. However, no customer should have to deal with this trouble I went through.
