Reviews of TCI in Lansing

Both Sparrow Hospital and their associated cardiology group TCI, are using physician assistants or nurse practitioners to diagnose and treat cardiac patients. My 55yo husband had a new heart arrhythmia and when he called asking to see the cardiologist, they set his appt with a PA. Although she was friendly, she did not have a clue what his problem was and every treatment she prescribed, Xeralto; TEE; and Cardioversion, was changed when he entered the hospital for testing. Dr. Ip nearly sent him home when it was completely inappropriate to do so. He barely made any eye contact with my husband or myself and, my husband was in the hospital for 3 days and never saw a doctor again even though they put him on dangerous medications and did some tests. No one explained why they thought this arrhythmia may be occuring, what the tests were for, and what to report immediately. They told my husband he has a certain type of arrhythmia and then someone would change and say it was a different arrhythmia. The nurses are friendly but even they know that their do tors are aweful. We have no respect for the treatment we received and i couldn't explain it all here but we will never go to sparrow or TCI again and you shouldnt either.
