THEY KNOW THE TRANSMISSION WAS BAD WHEN THEY BROUGHT IT FROM THE LEXUS DEALERSHIP IN July 2023, DOCTORED THE TRANS TO WORK WHEN WE PURCHASED IT AND STOP WORKING 18 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE!

On July 31, 2023, I test drove a Lexus 2013 ES 350 from Carport Enterprise 5729 NE COMPTON AVENUE KANSAS CITY, MO 64119. The only thing I noticed while driving it was as the car accelerated between 30-40 mph, it would shake slightly. Other than that, to my knowledge, the car appeared to have no major mechanical issues. When I brought this issue to the attention of the dealership, they stated that it was a tire and having it rotated would resolve the “slight shake”.
On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, I test drove the car again for about 45 minutes to an hour. Again, I noticed nothing major aside from the slight shake. In the following days I did my own research on the car that included a title lookup and pulling a Carfax report. According to the Carfax report, a lot of the routine services for this vehicle were performed at Hendrix Lexus. Feeling confident that this was a solid vehicle, I decided to place a $250.00 hold on it pending approval of my financing. On Friday 8/4 we finalized the purchase of the vehicle. After about a week I noticed it jerked a little when switching from 2-3 gear. I then decided to take the car to Hendrix Lexus for a new car checkup and mentioned to them my concerns that the “jerking” could be the transmission.
On Monday, August 7, the service technician at Hendrix Lexus left a voice mail advising me that they recognized this vehicle and was curious as to where I purchased it. He also stated that they had serviced this vehicle earlier this year and indicated that it needs a new transmission. He also indicated that they (Hendrix Lexus) later sold the car at a wholesale car auction.
I was never advised of the transmission issues by Carport Enterprise prior to purchasing the vehicle. It wasn’t until after that I was advised by the dealership of the problem. After financing this car for $9,500 I now have to replace the transmission at the cost to me for $8,651.

Horrible people. Totally SCAMMED and took advantage of my girlfriend and then refused to help her or take any action. The car has 60 codes coming up and should not have been sold. They refuse to talk or take care of their customers. HORRIBLE SCAMMERS THAT WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND THEN TAKE NO ACCOUNTABILITY!!! DO NOT GO HERE
