Don't ever use them. They sendt a man out who didn't know a leak from a hole in the wall. Said I should put a bucket with rocks under the leak outside (through a brick wall) to collect the water but it was normal. How stupid did he think I was???

I am a very unsatisfied customer. Should you use this company for a/c heating it will be at your own risk. The assigned Service Technician from McDaris A/C & Heating came out on 07/29/2012 after me placing a call through my home warranty company First American to have my A/C checked because it was not cooling plusd it was freezing up because it was loosing freon. I informed the Service Technician to check for leaks but because of the nature I had someone come out and put freon in the system so we would remain cool until the problem was resolved, at that time the A/C person said it was probably a leak but since I was with a Home Warranty Company, they would find it. The report I received back from the technician with McDaris was there was no malfunction to the equipment. Needless to say I had to call First American on 08/05/2012 to inform them that the problem reoccurred on 08/03/2012, 4 days later. The service technician came out on 08/07/2012 then found there was a leak and the Air Handler had to be replaced. I then asked the technician why he did not check for a leak the first time he was out and of course he said sometimes Technicians lie then actually avoided the question and did not take responsibilty that he failed to do a job he was certified to do. Worst thing I complained to First American about his service he refused to do the job so now they have to reassign a new company, I am now without Air for 10 days.
