the adara employees whom i've all but begged to fix the parking problem here are the shadiest, most unethical, dishonest, and unprofessional in the industry. the one concern i addressed before signing my lease here was if parking was ever a problem, and they lied then and they continue to lie, saying there is adequate parking here for residents - there is not! not only do they fail to tow non-residents, they tow residents instead! because we have nowhere to park! if you want to park here, get ready to pay $50 a month for a far away covered port that you have to walk through an unlit parking lot at night to get to! they won't tell you that, though. i also get to live in an apt that reeks of a dead skunk constantly, bc after several months of complaints from me and many of my neighbors, adara can't seem to figure out what tenant in my bldg sits in their apt morning, noon and night and smokes skunk weed. it just can't be that hard. i will never rent on another adara property again. ever.

i'm being generous giving this place one star. the newest property manager, liz, and her staff of twits, who possess the collective IQ of 5, have two goals: 1) to not do their jobs - competently, anyway - and 2) to screw over tenants who call them out on it.

somehow they found a way to epically screw up the simplest of tasks (my lease renewal), tried to charge me hundreds of dollars in various fees (because THEY couldn't seem to get the lease right and had me sign five different leases, the last of which was still inaccurate), refused to return my calls or communicate with me, then served me with an eviction notice because i refused to pay the bogus fees, which kept compounding daily, an obvious strongarm tactic they use to avoid having to deal with tenants, do their jobs adequately, or correct their mistakes. i'm sure bullying people with the threat of an eviction - even though unwarranted - causes many to fold and just hand over their money. well, not me.

because i contacted a VP at adara's corporate office, and got the fees waived and eviction notice thrown out (rightfully so!), the property manager's next power-trip move, being the vindictive, unprofessional person that she is, was to tow me for parking along the curb, which i had to do because there weren't any open parking spaces that night - parking spaces they promised would always be available in their sales pitch of lies, when in reality, often are not. that cost me $250. i got towed because they fail to provide me - and many others - with any place to park. it would be funny if it didn't make me so angry. RIDICULOUS is what it is.

the on-site staff here, and adara, the property mgmt company, is in a word, shady. once you sign on the dotted line, you become the enemy and their #1 target for $ collection. BEWARE! property management companies are known for being shady, but this group takes the cake. shady company with shady people in its employ. i regret renewing my lease and can't wait to move out.
