After checking out great reviews on google, we decided to schedule an appointment with Dr. Kavand for my daughter who was suffering from extreme eczema all over her body.
I am extremely unhappy with how the appointment went. For Dr.Kavand my daughter must be just another patient, however we went to this clinic with a lot of hope.
The appointment was rushed through. Dr. Kavand didn't take time to discuss the issue thoroughly with my daughter. We showed her all the medicines which my daughter was already taking.( prescribed by our physician)

After checking my daughter, she prescribed seasonal allergy medicine and a couple of ointments. At that time, we didn't check the names of the meds and she sent those to our pharmacy. She asked my daughter to schedule a follow up in 3 weeks. Didn't say much and left the room.

When we went to our pharmacy to pick up the medicines, we realized that she prescribed the same medicines that my daughter was already taking. Our insurance didn't cover those medicines since we already have the supply. We ended up paying a lot for those meds again.

Doctor Kavand did care to tell us that she is prescribing the same medicines. All she could have said was to continue those meds, but she didn't.... and also top of that she could have suggested something else for speedy recovery ....
but there was no communication whatsoever....During the appointment my daughter made sure to give Dr.Kavand all possible details about her eczema and also, carried all the meds that she is still taking... We paid $180 for this visit. I don't think it was worth the time and money. I called them again and spoke to the manager about this experience and they did nothing. I never had such an experience with doctors in the past 20 years. It was very frustrating and disappointing.
Please be aware of this doctor.
