Life changing, literally. I never gave much credence to spending money on massages that feel good for an hour and then everything is back to the same after. I started working with Taelour because my sciatica was acting up and killing me again. It was quickly obvious that this was no ordinary massage work. I admit it was tough going at first with 30 years of abuse to my body and a lack of effort on my part in maintenance. After a bit I really started seeing permanent changes and then areas I thought were permanently damaged stopped hurting. Then more areas felt better, and then I noticed I started wanting to stretch some in the evenings because it didn’t kill me to do so. One day I realized that I might actually want to start working out again. I went from a beer drinking couch potato to lifting weights three times a week, doing the elliptical three to five times a week, attending yoga, and attending some Functional Mobility classes at the Middle twice a week. Without any effort I also quit drinking alcohol and soda (I was a popaholic!) and I feel about 20 years younger! The Functional Mobility and the yoga also seemed to help make huge gains in what I was getting out of the massages. I would also recommend a 30 minute infrared sauna sit right before the massage as it allows the masseuse to get a major head start on muscle relaxation and for you to get much more out the time in the actual massage.
