Reviews of Lawnwood Physical Rehabilitation Center in Fort Pierce

Else wood Rehab nurse(s) and Doctor need to be held responsible for jeopardizing my father's safety and physical well being since he left the location without signing a release on Monday, June 13, 2016. The medical staff demonstrated lack of responsibility as well as concern and supervision of an 84 year old immobile man. My dad's name is Angelo Rosa and I need explanations....The nurse that was on duty and called me was negligent and needs to be disciplined and re-trained. I plan to pursue this serious matter.

My father left this rehab in a wheelchair on the night of 6/13/16. He was not discharged but left because of a medicine unavailability issue. There was obvious neglect of the nurse(s) that are supposed to be supervising immobile patients. Neither a supervisor or police authorities were notified by the rehab personnel last night. Thankfully, the nurse called to inform me & approximately 6:30pm. My father was hospitalized in the rehab center last week and I spent 3 days with him in his room. I observed in attentiveness by various nurse's; lack of building security, indifferent staff by several employees as well as failure to

NOT WORTH IT BECAUSE OF WORST IN CLASS CASE MANAGER My father was at the Lawnwood pavilion rehab facility - owned and operated by the hospital. Very Happy with the nurses and nurse techs - they were all lovely... The PT man and his assistant were amazing - Jan was his name. Great occupational therapist in Evans and the Director Dave is very nice as well, as is the speech therapist Justine. I would however still not recommend the Pavilion for rehab if you love your family member. There is a case manager Brenda who works at Lawnwood Pavilion Rehab who is awful. She is condescending, rude, and acts in a completely unprofessional manner. Her attitude are a stain on the otherwise great staffs reputation. She is a glowing example of how 1 individual can ruin an experience w a health care provider. She spent 5 minutes reading us someone elses case notes then when we got frustrated and let her know that it all went down hill.....STAY AWAY
