Reviews of PetSmart in Florence

I have been taking my dog to this location for over 10 years now. Coco has had a history of seizures for approximately six years now and they were well aware of it. They adopted a new policy where you can no longer drop your dog off for grooming and pick them up later in the afternoon. I was informed to stay close by when she was last groomed as they usually got them done in about an hour when they have a history of seizures. I was called halfway through because she was “too nervous for them to finish her grooming” and I had to pick her up early. When I picked her up no one told me that they would no longer be able to groom my dog even though apparently that decision was made that day. About a month later I called to make another appointment to get her groomed and was informed after being placed on hold that I would need to take her to the vet. When I asked him why I was informed that they would no longer be able to groom her because of her being so nervous the previous time amd her history of seizures and her age. This was a determination they made after her previous visit but no one ever bothered to tell me. I was treated very poorly and the communication was atrocious. It’s very disappointing that my 10+ years of loyalty to this company are going down the tubes because of their horrible communication skills. If you have a dog that has a history of seizures even if they haven’t had one in months I do not recommend that you ever take them to Petsmart.
