On the day of drop off, my daughter and I asked the seamstress 10+ times if she can remove the straps from a dress in order to make the dress strapless. The seamstress said yes 10+ times. She wrote us a ticket for the charges and day of pickup then we left the store. On the day of pick up, the straps on the dress were still there. Not only were they still there, they were altered which made the zipper malfunction, prevented the zipper from zipping completely and the dress tighter. She apologize for messing up the dress and said she didn't understand our inquiry. She also said "No Charge" 2x. Then she tried to alter the dress again by putting clips on the dress so that it will zip (without my permission). After completing her 2nd alteration, she tried to upcharge me for fixing her mistakes. She then asked for the money for altering the straps and for her 2nd attempt to altering the dress again. I refused to pay and I had to call the cops on her to release my dress to me. She ruined a beautiful expensive dress. All she had to say on day one was that she couldn't alter the dress to be strapless. Do not take your Prom dresses or Ball gowns to them. Bad work, Bad service, Bad communication!!!! They deserve a "0"
