Sophia does not take new clients, quite possibly not ever. When she said "we" are happy to help, she meant someone else but not her. So she set me up with an intern. While the intern was good, she is required to take lengthy breaks as part of her training. I saw her weekly for 3 months and then had to stop because of the required 4-week break that was subsequently extended to 4 months. My life quickly got out of hand. I had to find someone else. Then Sophia said that she will not take any more clients, and alleged that I was making progress. The last part was followed up with flattering compliments, even though I wasn't doing better. Don't bother contacting Sophia directly for therapy sessions. She will stick you with an intern, with whom you can get up to 4 months of sessions. Then it has to stop, and you're on your own. If you are seeking help at Bull City Psychotherapy, I recommend you contact the other non-intern providers directly. They are more helpful than Sophia. According to another review, Sophia does not have an office in Wilmington even though she has a PsychologyToday profile stating Wilmington as the location.
