Worst experience I had in a medical facility. At the emergency room of Delray Medical Center, I was given promethazine for nausea intravenously and developed an awful allergic reaction to it. I felt like I was dying. And the worst part of the experience was that nobody (nurses or doctor in charge) seemed to care! They did nothing about it; a nurse said Oh it must be the medicine they've given you. Also the nurse who was supposed to look after me was callous and rude. Maybe the most disturbing fact is that, strangely, there is NO RECORD of what actually happened to me in the official medical records about my case, which I obtained from the hospital after being released. It looks like, in order to get their health-grades website prize, they are actually ignoring these adverse events in order to make themselves get a better rating. Please beware!
