My wife took an older Bulova watch of mine in for cleaning, crystal replacement and a new band. When the watch was examined, the jeweler noticed that the stem and case were not able to properly seal from the environment. But he didn't mention this to my wife before she spent $130. He was also unable to get the Day feature to operate correctly. Now I have a watch that I can't wear if the humidity is high, as moisture builds up inside the watch. I asked why he didn't mention these issues to my wife and he stated that he does the work that's asked but doesn't bring up other problems. A total waste of my money and a poor attitude of service. And all of this after I had suggested to my wife to use this store. No more. I would recommend you find another jeweler.
