Reviews of Capital Counters & Cabinets in Corona

My husband and I had gotten several estimates from various places and Capital Countertops estimate was considerably less. We were shocked! We felt no pressure to make a decision right then and there, unlike other the other places we got estimates from. We were able to afford to get more done in the kitchen than we thought we would! We had figured we would have to do a little at a time because of the other outrageous quotes we had received. Jose did the majority of the work and it's great. Everything was cleaned up each night. Jose would let me know what the plans would be for the next day. He would show up promptly the next morning. I love the way our kitchen turned out! It is workable now and looks wonderful. We had a big party and everyone was blown away by how awesome the kitchen looked. It is now much more user friendly not only for parties but for everyday life. They also do flooring which I would love to get done, but it will have to wait until we have more play money :) The reason I took off one star is because a lack of communication in the end. I'm not sure what happened but we needed one item corrected and I was told (via email) they would call me on said day and it didn't happen. This minor item got dragged out way longer than it should. Again it was a minor issue but it still needed to be corrected. I know Gary and Jaun were in the middle of relocating their business so I tried to give them a little slack. In the end I was a little frustrated and passed getting the correction fixed to my husband to deal with.

Juan and his crew did a great job installing granite countertops in our kitchen and master bathroom. Juan came out and measured and then returned with the prefabricated countertop samples. I want to keep the price low and was pleased by the choices Juan had for the most inexpensive granite. In the kitchen we got granite for three different counters with 6" backsplash and a large over-the-stove backsplash. In the master bath we bought two sinks with granite and a 2"/3" backsplash so the existing outlets didn't need to be removed. The crew was prompt and very careful of our newly installed flooring throughout their work day. The work was scheduled for two days, but because the install was close to finish the first day, the crew stayed late to finish. That gave us an extra day in our renovation schedule for which we were grateful. When my husband put the drawers back in the kitchen cabinets he discovered that two of the drawers were rubbing on the granite. While the adhesive was still setting, Jaun's crew came back and put shims under the countertop; then the drawers no longer rubbed. Yeah! Juan is responsive and professional. We are very pleased with his work and will use him again in the future. I've already recommended him to two friends.

I am extremely impressed with Juan and his team. The excellency in, work, professionalism, and pro-activeness is unmatched. I had an aggressive timeline for granite for kitchen, 2 bath vanities, and 1 bathtub deck and I was very much worried if I would find a Granite vendor who could get this done within the short time period. Based on Yelp reviews, I contacted Juan/Capital Counters. I received a prompt response from Juan, and things moved very quickly. Received a very reasonable pricing based on the drawings and the pricing never increased thereafter unlike some other vendors who would waste our time by throwing in a low priced quote only to increase it later. Installer came for measurement the next day and installation was completed within a week. It was too good to believe at the beginning when Juan promised he could meet my aggressive timeline. But his words turned out to be true! Juan's crew Israel and Sergio performed an awesome job with the installation. We opted the elegant and pretty looking OGEE Square edge that came free with the purchase. We are in love with our Ubatuba green granite countertops. I count Juan as one among the few most accountable vendors I have come across. He respected my time and I greatly value it. I would go with Juan for all of our future granite needs and would also recommend Juan to our contacts.
