Reviews of Law Office of Stephana L.M. Femino in Chico

I paid this attorney a retainer fee but she never showed up to court! Her receptionist Claimed she was in a car accident and hospitalized.
So I called the hospital to check on her and the hospital had never heard of her. So I began checking her reviews and I noticed that she told another client that she had been in a train wreck and couldn't make it to court for their hearing as well. She's coming up with all kinds of excuses and delays but 9 months later I still haven't received my $1,000.
When I threaten to take her to the State bar association for their assistance in getting my money back to the client attorney trust fund she told me, "go ahead.. it'll just take you that much longer to get your money back. This is approximately 3 weeks ago. So I'm done I'm just going to leave reviews about her unprofessionalism and make my claim to the bar.
I did call my bank to get my bank transaction records and explain the circumstances they said it definitely sound fraudulent. So be careful when dealing with Miss femino. And whatever you do do not use a non-refundable online application to pay her as she insisted I do. Once again my bank told me this is fraudulent sounding. Go somewhere else if you know what's good for you
