My friend took her cat to Dr. Nigel Bray here at Animal Medical Center for a simple surgery. During surgery, the cat was intubated and as a result, her trachea was torn (post-intubation tracheal tear). This caused air to build up under her skin and in her lungs and when she took her to the emergency vet, she was one hour away from dying because of this tear in her trachea. The cat spent 48 hours in an oxygen cage and my friend incurred over $2K in vet bills from the emergency vet, who confirmed that the tear was a result of intubation — intubation that Dr. Nigel Bray performed.

I was with my friend when all of these concerns were surfaced to Dr. Nigel Bray. He completely dismissed her concerns, admitted no wrong, and refused to do anything to right his wrongs. Naturally, she was extremely frustrated and he got upset with her language choices and tried to do everything he could throughout the conversation to deflect from the root of the problem — him.

Dr. Nigel Bray is, by leaps and bounds, the most unprofessional person I’ve ever encountered. Please, if you care about your pet in the slightest, do not take them here.
