I bought a 3 ton air conditioner from the company 3 years ago. Joe, the owner recommended that size telling me that it would handle that area in my home. He also refused to put in a 4 ton, saying it was too large for the area. In fact, it was too small and not able to do the job. Since then, I had my living area analyzed by two reputable companies who both stated that 4 tons was the proper size.

Not only did Ocean Air screw up the size of my air conditioner, they do not stand behind their work. My air conditioner is under warranty. I called them to repair it as it is not working. The lady who answered the phone stated that I would get a call back from scheduling. I never received the call. I called back again after 24 hours, and was told that we don't return calls. She then scheduled me for the following day. I asked her to have the service manager give me a call. When I spoke to the service manager the following day, she was rude and obnoxious. I merely wanted her to know about her scheduling screw ups. Instead she was nasty and arrogant. At that time I found out she was the wife of the owner. Apparently, as the wife, she thinks that she has the right to treat customers like garbage. I feel that this company should be avoided by everyone. There are many companies out there that are competent and care about your business. Why go to a company where you are given bad information and as a bonus are treated like dirt? Avoid this company unless you want to cost yourself time, aggravation and money.
