Reviews of American Passion Play Inc in Bloomington

We were very empressed today by the entire production. We weren`t sure how our four grandchildren would do consideing the length of the play but they remained totally immersed in the storyline of each scene and came away excited about having gone. It was difficult to clearly tell what John the Baptist was saying and the same was true of a couple other less prominant characters but on the whole all actors did a very good job. The actors playing Jesus, Malichi, Peter, Judas, Mary Magdoline and Mary the mother of Jesus were every bit as excellent as any well-known professionals we have seen in Chicago theatres. The actor portraying Jesus did a wonderful job giving Him an actual personality with emotions and sense of humor. Over-all it was an amazing experience and we are so glad we made it a part of our celebration of this Easter season.
