Jan Berlage is an ace attorney. During his tenure as my attorney- which took place over the course of several months- Jan did everything in his power to reduce my legal fees, settle in my best interests, and was ALWAYS available to answer my questions. If I called him on a Saturday night because I thought of something pertinent to my case- Jan answered the phone. Every time. He attempted to settle my case several times to avoid litigation costs and costing me more money. He did this in my best interest - not his clearly. The other side, however, was not interested in settling and their attorneys made sure their bills were run high to finance their next car purchase. We did end up with a successful outcome (this was a LLP dispute over a company I had formed with another individual) though and recovered a decent amount which allowed me to pay my legal fees and have a good amount left over to start over. I will use Jan Berlage as my personal business and legal advisor from now on and recommend him to others whom I know.
