I have unfortunately been in a lot of psych wards. Aurora north is the best amongst the best. It starts with their medical director Dr. Mayer and goes all the way down the line. There is no way I could list everyone who helped me out, but Dr. Mayer was my doctor, Zach the social worker, nancy and Liz the therapists were awesome. Charlene and Elyssa (nurses) really helped me to understand some things. AJ and Naomi probably had to help me the most. They were all very kind, caring, and compassionate. I feel safe when I am there. They truly care about their patients. I hope I never have to be admitted again, but if I am I hope it is at Aurora North.
