I wish I could give 0 stars. We did not have our girl’s wedding here partly because it just wasn’t what we were looking for. The biggest reason was the arrogant rudeness of the man who showed us the venue. When we told him we have a service dog, he said “You can’t bring it here!” I told him she’s protected under the ADA (American’s With Disabilities Act), he Said “There will be a $500 cleaning fee.” I informed him that was also illegal. He very quickly said “I’ll just refuse service, it’s my building!” I told him there are stiff penalties to refuse service because of a person with a disability or disallow service animals. He said it would be my word against his and “good luck proving I said that.” In my opinion he discriminated against a member of our wedding party because of a recognized disability that is federally protected.
